Nash Rawiller's plans to ride in the early part of the Sydney carnival have been dashed after he was suspended for careless riding at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.
The Hong Kong-based jockey had intended to stay in Sydney until the Warwick Stakes meeting on August 22, before heading back for the start of the new Hong Kong season a week later.
However, stewards have brought a premature end to Rawiller's stint, finding him guilty of shifting in aboard Der Meister passing the winning post the first time in Wednesday's Bledisloe Cup Festival Handicap.
Rawiller's penalty will start after he rides at Randwick on Saturday when his mounts include the Gai Waterhouse-trained Liberty's Choice in the Group Two Missile Stakes.
