Tuesday 11 August 2015, 7:14am

Sebring Sun's win in the Rosebud has moved him closer to a start in the $1 million Group One Golden Rose.

The Gary Portelli-trained colt is now 24th in the order of entry after Saturday's win and he has firmed from $51 to $26.

Golden Slipper winner Vancouver is the dominant favourite for Sydney's first Group One race of the season.

He will begin his campaign in Saturday's San Domenico Stakes (1100m) in which he will carry 60kg.

Entries have been extended for the Group Three sprint with 10 taken on Monday.

Sebring Sun's next race is expected to be the Up And Coming Stakes on August 29.
