Warrnambool trainer Symon Wilde has been charged by stewards over a positive swab to an anti-inflammatory returned by a horse in his care after a win at Edenhope.
Racing Victoria stewards issued a charge to Wilde on Wednesday for presenting a horse to race when a prohibited substance was detected in its system.
A post-race urine sample taken from Hello My Dear after winning at the country track of Edenhope on June 7 detected the presence of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory Ibuprofen.
A date for the hearing into the charge in front of the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board is yet to be fixed.
