Peter Moody will face a directions hearing next month ahead of Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board inquiry into high cobalt level in one of his horses.
Moody has been charged over the administration and presentation of cobalt in a post-race sample from Lidari following his second placing in the Turnbull Stakes at Flemington last October.
Moody's direction hearing, to be held on September 9, will determine when his case will be heard by the RAD Board.
Father-and-son training partners Lee and Shannon Hope have their cobalt hearing set down to begin on October 15 with fellow trainers Mark Kavanagh and Danny O'Brien to have their hearings from November 30.
Moody told Melbourne radio station RSN on Friday morning, he had no idea how Lidari could have reached a level of 410, well above the threshold 200mcg per litre of urine.
