Jamieson blots careless riding copybook

Apprentice Rikki Jamieson was suspended on a careless riding charge for the first time in 500 rides at Doomben on Saturday.

Jamieson, who rode Stradam, pleaded guilty to causing interference to Gallinari and Dysfunction at the first turn in the Hervey Bay Hotel Handicap.

With two months left in her apprenticeship, Jamieson was suspended for six meetings, starting next Saturday night.
