A familiarisation gallop at Moonee Valley will determine whether Dibayani takes his place in a Group Two race at track.

The former Irish and Hong Kong galloper is one of 14 entries, including last year's one-two The Cleaner and Mourinho, for Saturday's Dato Tan Chin Nam Stakes (1600m).

Lindsay Park co-trainer David Hayes said Dibayani would head to Moonee Valley to gallop on Tuesday and if he pleases him he will take his place in Saturday's race.

Dibayani made his Australian debut in the PB Lawrence Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on August 15, finishing third behind Mourinho and The Cleaner.

"He's come through his first-up run really well," Hayes said.

"He's going to have a gallop at Moonee Valley on Tuesday and if he pleases me I will run him," Hayes said.

Dibayani proved hard to load at Caulfield and had to pass a barrier test before being allowed to race again.

"He got his test out of the way the week after and he was fine," Hayes said.

"We'll probably take him around in a hood and then take it off at the gates."

Damian Lane will again ride Dibayani on Saturday.

Dibayani is a $9 chance in early markets with Contributer the $2 favourite ahead of The Cleaner and The United States at $6 with Mourinho at $7.

Contributer, undefeated in three Sydney autumn runs, makes his return on Saturday with the Group One Cox Plate (2040m) on October 24 his main aim.

The Chris Waller trio of Hawkspur, I'm Imposing, and Preferment have been nominated while also holding entries for the Group Two Chelmsford Stakes at Randwick.

Chautauqua has been nominated for the day's feature sprint event, the Group Two McEwen Stakes (1000m) along with his Hawkes Racing stablemate Headwater.

The three-quarter sister to Black Caviar, Sistonic, is a nomination.

Ciaron Maher's Jameka and unbeaten stablemate Petits Filous have been nominated for the Listed Atlantic Jewel Stakes (1200m) as well as the Group Two Furious Stakes (1200m) at Randwick.
