A lack of options has forced trainer Tony Gollan to alter plans for stablemates My Girl Hayley and Temple Of Boom.
My Girl Hayley was third at Doomben last week and is an acceptor in the Barry Nilsson Lawyers Handicap (1350m) at Doomben on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Temple Of Boom was well beaten in the Group One Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield on Saturday and has been sent for a freshen up.
Gollan said he didn't have many choices with My Girl Hayley, who has been entered for the Thousand Guineas at Caulfield next month.
"The way she raced last Saturday when third of over 1200 metres indicated she needs to get out to 1350 metres and then 1600 metres," Gollan said.
"It means we either back her up at 1350 metres this Saturday or we are left with a 1050-metre race in a fortnight which is too short."
Gollan said he was in no rush with My Girl Hayley who was also a Magic Millions horse.
"At this stage she will run Saturday but if we feel she isn't ready for the seven-day back-up she will have a little break," he said.
Meanwhile, Temple of Boom had mucus in his lower respiratory tract after his Memsie run.
"It isn't a virus but more an allergy he gets. He is sound and there is no reason he shouldn't race on."
