Winx has assumed favouritism for the Epsom Handicap with her scintillating win in the Theo Marks Stakes.
The Chris Waller-trained mare came from second last to nail Sons Of John on the line in Saturday's Group Two race, her first start since her Queensland Oaks success in May.
She is at $4.50 for the $1 million Epsom (1600m) at Randwick on October 3 ahead of her stablemates Kermadec and Royal Descent and the Gai Waterhouse-trained Pornichet who are all at $8.
Kermadec, Royal Descent and Pornichet will clash in Saturday's Group One George Main Stakes.
Winx and Kermadec are on the second line of TAB betting at $10 for the Cox Plate along with Godolphin's Contributer.
Veteran Fawkner is the $8 Cox Plate favourite following his win in Saturday's Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington.
