An injury-free Kirramosa is ready to reclaim her Group One form in the George Main Stakes after a frustrating couple of years.

Trainer John Sargent has kept faith with Kirramosa who has had just six starts since she won the 2013 VRC Oaks because of a hamstring injury followed by a fractured pedal bone.

Sargent is buoyed by the way she has trained on since her fifth in the Tramway Stakes on September 5 when she finished just 1-1/2 lengths from the winner Hooked who is also among the 14 entries for Saturday's 1600m-feature at Randwick.

"She is well and truly on the way back and is injury free," Sargent said.

"She runs in the George Main and then she will go to the Epsom. She gets into that with hardly any weight on her back.

"We've got her in the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups but we'll see what happens in the Epsom and then decide."

Kirramosa has 52kg in the Epsom and half a kilogram less in the Caulfield Cup.

Her stablemate, Australian Oaks winner Gust Of Wind, has 51kg in the Caulfield Cup and pleased her trainer with her fast-closing eighth in Saturday's Makybe Diva Stakes in which she was less than two lengths from the winner Fawkner.

"I'm very happy. Her final sectionals were amazing and she heads to the Turnbull Stakes next," Sargent said.

Tommy Berry rides Kirramosa in the George Main for which she is a $12 chance in the TAB's opening market.

Doncaster Mile winner Kermadec is the $2.90 favourite ahead of his Chris Waller-trained stablemate Royal Descent at $5.50.

Royal Descent has been runner-up in the race for the past two years behind Streama in 2013 and Sacred Falls last year.

Waller has also entered Flamingo Star and Moriarty but has options with the pair.

Flamingo Star is among 19 nominations for Friday's Group Three Cameron Handicap (1500m) at Newcastle while Moriarty is one of 11 stable entries for the Group Two Hill Stakes (2000m) at Randwick.

Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist is also entered for both the George Main and the Hill Stakes.
