Racing Queensland stewards disqualified one trainer on an elevated TCO2 charge and adjourned an inquiry into a similar case on Wednesday.
Chief steward Allan Reardon said trainer Peter Moncrieff was disqualified for four months for presenting Judge Ruby at the races at Doomben with a TCO2 level above the permitted threshold.
Judge Ruby ran 11th at $101 on August 22.
Reardon said Moncrieff lodged an appeal and was granted a stay of proceedings.
Another inquiry was opened into trainer Daryl Hansen's How Can I Help being presented to race with a TCO2 level above the threshold when fifth at Ipswich on August 14.
Reardon said the hearing would resume as soon as possible.
