Inglis Digital and Escrow Service provider Check Vault have partnered to introduce Equine SafePay, Australia and New Zealand’s first Online Escrow Service aimed to help customers wanting to buy and sell horses online safely, and to avoid online scammers with confidence.
 
Australia’s largest Equestrian site Horsezone.com.au and Australia’s largest Bloodstock site, Bloodstock.com.au will exclusively offer the service across their sites starting from September 2015.  The service is available to any offers over $1,000 on any of the 8,000 listings on Horsezone and 1,200 horses available for sale on Bloodstock.com.au.

The Equine SafePay service is simple;

• The buyer makes an offer to purchase
• The vendor accepts or rejects the offer
• The buyer then transfers the money into an Escrow account (Perpetual Corporate Trust are the escrow agent)
• The horse is then transferred to the buyer
• Once the horse arrives, the buyer approves the release of the funds to the vendor
