The summer staying races in Sydney are options for both Perplexity and Chillin With Dylan after their game wins at Doomben.
Trainer Chris Munce said he had three options with Perplexity and he would discuss them with the owners, Dynamic Syndications, in the next few days.
"We can push on to another 2200 metre race in Brisbane in a fortnight or spell him with the winter carnival in mind," Munce said.
"There is also the option of going to Sydney for the Christmas Cup and Summer Cup over the summer," Munce said.
Jockey Jeff Lloyd produced a master class in rating the pace in a staying race as Perplexity ($4.60) lumped 59kg to win Saturday's Brisbane Marriott Hcp (2200m).
Chillin With Dylan ($3.80) could also eventually be headed to Sydney after his win in the Kevin Tanchevski Mush 2 Hcp (1600m).
Trainer Ben Aherns said Chillin With Dylan was finally settling in his races and was looking for 2000m or further.
"His rating is still pretty low but if we can get another few wins into him up here we might go to Sydney for the Christmas and Summer Cups," he said.
"Otherwise we might be able to get into one of the Magic Millions staying races."
He has always believed Chillin With Dylan would make a top stayer once he learned to settle.
"We thought he was good enough to run in the Queensland Derby last season but he had no chance from the outside barrier," Ahrens said.
The Group Three Summer Cup (2000m) and the Listed Christmas Cup (2400m) are among the staying races in Sydney in December.
Lloyd brought up a double when consistent Charge Account ($2.90) made it three wins from his past five starts in the Rowlatt Buck Show Hcp (1200m).
Charge Account is owned by leading NSW breeder and former ATC chairman John Cornish who was great friends with Roberts' old boss, the late trainer Bruce McLachlan.
"We can be a bit selective with where we run Charge Account now. He has down a great job," Roberts said.
