He's Our Rokkii to head to WA Guineas

Friday 13 November 2015, 11:16am

He's Our Rokkii has been scratched from the Sandown Guineas to be saved for the WA Guineas in Perth.

The decision leaves co-trainers David Hayes and Tom Dabernig with Flying Light in Saturday's $250,000 Sandown Guineas (1600m).

The Group Two $500,000 WA Guineas (1600m) is at Ascot on Saturday week.

He's Our Rokkii is coming off a last-start fourth in the Carbine Club Stakes and had drawn barrier 13 in the Sandown race.

"I thought his run against the bias in the Carbine Club Stakes was very good and he would have been a terrific chance in the Sandown Guineas but there's a $500,000 race in Perth probably with not as much exposed form, so we're going to Perth with him," Hayes said.
