Sprinters from the eastern seaboard head the market for the Winterbottom Stakes in Perth.
Star Queensland sprinter Buffering is the $3.80 favourite for the Group One race at Ascot on Saturday.
Barriers for the $1 million race will be determined on Tuesday.
Buffering won the Moir Stakes at Moonee Valley in early October before running fifth behind Chautauqua in the Manikato Stakes.
He then ran fourth to Delectation in the Darley Classic at Flemington at his latest start.
The David Hayes and Tom Dabernig-trained Fast `N' Rocking is the second pick for the Winterbottom at $4.60.
Damian Browne heads to Perth to ride Buffering on Saturday and will also be aboard Messene for Hawkes Racing in the other Group One feature, the Railway Stakes.
Messene is an $18 chance with Delicacy, a dual Derby and Oaks winner in Perth and Adelaide earlier in the year, the $3.80 favourite.
