TRAINING PARTNERSHIP LEE AND SHANNON HOPE

* Son Shannon disqualified for five years

* Father Lee for three years

* For elevated cobalt levels in three racehorses last year

OTHER VICTORIAN CASES

* November 30 hearing for trainers Danny O'Brien and Mark Kavanagh and veterinarian Dr Tom Brennan

* December 14 hearing for trainer Peter Moody

HIGH-PROFILE NSW DISQUALIFICATIONS

* Trainer Darren Smith - 15 years (lost appeal)

* Trainer Sam Kavanagh (Mark's son) - nine years and three months (appealing)

* Vet Dr Tom Brennan - six years (appealing)

NATIONAL COBALT RULE

* Threshold of 200 micrograms per litre of urine

* Cobalt is performance enhancing

* Is part of some vitamin supplements but toxic in horses when given in high doses.
