Jordan Childs has had to be replaced from his rides at Moonee Valley after the apprentice failed in an appeal against a careless riding suspension.
Childs was booked for four rides at Moonee Valley on Saturday but will miss the meeting after his appeal against a seven-meeting ban was dismissed on Thursday.
Jye McNeil has picked up the ride on Renew in Saturday's Slickpix Handicap while fellow apprentice Kieran Shoemark replaces Childs on the Ciaron Maher-trained Well Sighted in the McMahon's Dairy Handicap.
A replacement has yet to be declared for the Leon and Troy Corstens-trained General Groove in the William Hill Handicap or the Matt Laurie-trained Master Reset in the Ranvet Handicap (1600m).
Childs appealed the decision and severity of the after being found guilty of careless riding aboard eventual winner Show A Star at Ballarat last Saturday.
