Madotti has been so unlucky trainer Matt Dunn figures she should have won 10 times the amount of prize money she has earned to date.
The filly, who has won one race and $150,000, will be chasing black type when she tackles the Listed Mode Plate (1200m) at Doomben on Saturday.
She was also accepted for a race at Rosehill but Dunn said she would run in Brisbane unless there was a significant change in the weather and the Doomben track looked like being rain-affected.
"Nothing has gone right for her in recent times - bad barriers, interference, wet tracks et cetera," Dunn said.
"I have lost count of the number of people who have told me she should have won the Magic Millions two-year-old Classic.
"She ran fourth in that race but covered a huge amount of ground."
Dunn believes if luck had gone the filly's way, Madotti could have won more than $1.5 million.
"Apart from the Magic Millions Classic, she has had no luck in a couple of stakes races," he said.
"It is frustrating for the owners and breeders.
"I just want to see her have some luck on Saturday and then we will see what she can do."
