Thomas Huet has failed in his bid to have an improper riding ban overturned and will serve a one-month suspension.
Huet was outed for an incident at Wyong in December with stewards finding him guilty of using an elbow towards Jess Taylor near the end of the race.
Taylor's mount won by a half head.
Huet, who has been riding on a stay of proceedings since the December 17 race, appeared before the Racing NSW appeal panel on Monday.
The panel agreed with the stewards' decision and Huet will begin his ban after he rides at Goulburn on Wednesday and can return on February 25.
