Pride Of Dubai to miss Expressway Stakes

Wednesday 27 January 2016, 7:01am

Dual Group One winner Pride Of Dubai's comeback has been delayed and he will not be among the acceptors for the Expressway Stakes.

The colt has not raced since he won last year's ATC Sires' Produce Stakes.

Co-trainer Peter Snowden said the Group Three Eskimo Stakes on Saturday week against his own age was a better first-up option.

Fellow three-year-old King's Troop from the Gerald Ryan stable, will also bypass Saturday's weight-for-age Expressway in favour of the Eskimo Prince.

Acceptances for the Group Two Expressway (1200m) at Rosehill will be taken on Wednesday.
