The Light Fingers Stakes in Sydney has been pinpointed as the return race for Thousand Guineas winner Stay With Me.
The David Hayes and Tom Dabernig-trained filly campaigned solely in Melbourne during the spring but the three-year-old is already in Sydney building towards the autumn carnival races.
A daughter of Street Cry out of former champion filly Miss Finland, Stay With Me will contest a star-studded barrier trial at Randwick on Friday which includes Cox Plate winner Winx along with Boban, Hartnell and First Seal.
"She'll probably kick off in the Light Fingers and then possibly the Surround Stakes," Dabernig told radio station RSN.
"We'll just judge it after that but maybe we might even consider the Coolmore Classic for fillies and mares."
Dabernig said Stay With Me was in great order.
"To my eye, she looks like she's flying," he said.
The Light Fingers Stakes is at Randwick on February 13.
Globetrotting star Criterion is also set for a Sydney campaign with Dabernig saying the multiple Group One winner will probably follow an identical three-run program to last year.
Criterion placed in the Canterbury and George Ryder Stakes last autumn before winning the $4 million Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
