Jockey Damian Browne will miss out on an interstate opportunity after being suspended at Doomben.
Browne, who rode Volkhere, pleaded guilty to causing interference going out of the straight for the first time in the Girls Day Out Raceday Handicap (2200m).
Stewards suspended Browne for nine days, starting after tomorrow's Sunshine Coast Cup meeting.
Browne will be able to ride again on Wednesday week but he had hoped to pick up mounts for the Breeders' Classic meeting at Randwick on Saturday.
He will not appeal.
