A host of stakes-performed three-year-olds are poised to clash in the Manfred Stakes at Caulfield.
The Group Three Manfred (1200m) is one of three stakes races on Saturday's program along with the Group Three Chairman's Stakes (1000m) for two-year-olds and the Listed W J Adams Stakes (1000m).
The Manfred Stakes has attracted 20 nominations with Group winners Gold Symphony, Bon Aurum and Price Of Brooklyn given 59kg under the set weights and penalties conditions.
Caulfield Guineas third placegetter Ready For Victory is set to make his return while the entries also include Listed winner Palentino, Bill Stutt Stakes winner Sovereign Nation, Mitchell McKenzie Stakes winner Well Sprung and Caulfield Guineas runner-up Lizard Island.
Peter and Paul Snowden have nominated multiple stakes-placed colt Wolf Cry, winner of the Magic Millions maiden on January 9, and have also entered him in the Eskimo Prince Stakes in Sydney.
Along with Gold Symphony, trainer Peter Moody has unbeaten Vostok and Anatola nominated while the Lee and Anthony Freedman-trained have Golden Spin chasing his fourth win this campaign.
The Darren Weir-trained Palentino is the equal favourite in the TAB's early Australian Guineas market at $8 alongside his stablemate Mahuta and the Chris Waller-trained Press Statement.
