Forster three-year-olds on Sydney path

Multiple Group One-winning jockey Robbie Fradd has been confirmed as the rider for Brisbane three-year-old Too Good To Refuse when he returns to Sydney.

Too Good To Refuse is headed to the Hobartville Stakes (1400m) at Rosehill on February 20 as a lead-up to the Group One Randwick Guineas (1600m) two weeks later.

The gelding will also be nominated for the Doncaster Mile on April 2 with the Stradbroke Handicap in June also on his agenda.

"I will put him in the Doncaster nominations just to be on the safe side," trainer Desleigh Forster said.

On his first visit to Sydney, the gelding finished fifth in the Group One Spring Champion Stakes in October won by Vanburgh from the Forster-trained I'm Belucci.

Fradd rode Too Good To Refuse in the Spring Champion Stakes and Forster admitted she was disappointed with the ride.

But the South African born Fradd has continued to clock up the winners for Forster and has ridden Too Good To Refuse in two recent runs in Queensland.

"Robbie has ridden Group One winners in something like six countries. He is a very experienced jockey and knows the horse well," Forster said.

"Too Good To Refuse has done well since his last run. Both runs since a spell were good because he had big weights and they were at unsuitable distances. I can hardly wait to get him out to 1400 metres and a mile."

I'm Belucci will run at Doomben on Saturday in a 1600m handicap.

He will then join Too Good To Refuse in Sydney where his main targets will be the Group One Rosehill Guineas (2000m) and the Group One Australian Derby (2400m).

"I'm Belucci showed he was up to Sydney company with a second in the Group One Spring Champion Stakes at Randwick," Forster said.

"He is also going well and he will make his mark this autumn."
