Jason Taylor is confident he will be fit to ride at Doomben after being injured in a fall.
Taylor was riding Milady Duchess in a barrier trial at Grafton on Monday when the horse blundered.
"I was trampled by two other horses. I was a bit worried because I banged my head and my stomach," Taylor said.
"I was bruised but I had scans on Tuesday and they came back clear.
"I will go to the doctor again on Friday but at this stage I am confident I will be spot-on to ride."
The popular jockey has been busy since returning from shoulder surgery last year.
He has the key ride on Gracefully Chic in the Support Women's Cancer Foundation Handicap at Doomben on Saturday.
Gracefully Chic ended a city drought for Taylor when she won at Doomben two weeks ago.
"This race doesn't look much harder and she will have no trouble with the 1350 metres," he said.
Apprentice Luke Dittman also hopes to be fit to ride likely race favourite Royal Tithe who won her last start by six lengths at Caloundra.
Dittman missed Wednesday's Doomben meeting with an injured shoulder.
