Godolphin filly Ambience will aim to turn the tables on VRC Oaks winner Jameka when the pair meet in the Vinery Stud Stakes.
Winner of the Wakeful Stakes during the Melbourne spring carnival, Ambience then finished third behind a dominant Jameka in the Oaks.
Trainer John O'Shea believes Ambience can get the better of her highly fancied rival in the Vinery.
The race will be Ambience's third start this campaign and she returns to a flat weight scale after giving away three kilograms to the rest of the field when fifth in the Kembla Grange Classic.
"She's ticking along nicely and I think she's better suited in this race than she was last start when she had to give weight all round," O'Shea said.
"I think she's up to this. It looks a great chance for her to get some Group One form."
Godolphin's other runner in the Vinery, Asinara, beat Ambience home when third in the Kembla Grange Classic.
"Asinara is a very talented filly who's come a long way in a short time, but she continues to run well and I'm happy to give her the chance to get some black type," O'Shea said.
Both fillies are nominated for the Australian Oaks.
Ambience is rated as a $21 chance in the Vinery with Asinara at $13.
Jameka is at $3.60, narrowly shading former New Zealand galloper Risque ($3.80) for favouritism.
