Greg Eurell's plan to target the VOBIS Gold Sprint with We've Got This was thwarted last week because of a foot abscess.
We've Got This is over that issue and Eurell is now looking to send the four-year-old back to the races at either Caulfield on Saturday or Flemington on Monday.
We've Got This is second emergency for Saturday's Listed Bel Esprit Stakes (1100m) while he has 61.5kg in a 1200m race at Flemington on Monday with 2kg claiming apprentice Tom Sadler booked for the ride.
Eurell said he was 50-50 as to his preference, although a decision will be taken out of his hands if there are no scratchings from the Bel Esprit Stakes.
We've Got This won over 1200m at Caulfield on January 26 before finishing strongly to win over the same distance down the straight at Flemington on February 20.
Eurell then gave the sprinter a freshen up to target last Saturday's $250,000 VOBIS Gold Sprint but We've Got This got an abscess in his off-hind foot last week.
"Typical of those things, a couple of days later it was as good as gold," Eurell said.
"It was the race we wanted to really target, so it was a shame it didn't work out like we wanted."
Eurell said he would decide plans for We've Got This after his next start, with an interstate trip to Adelaide an option for The Goodwood next month.
We've Got This is at $8 for the Bel Esprit Stakes, while he has been installed $9 for the Flemington race with talented Supido the $1.90 favourite.
