Blue Desert Moon will be out to give trainer Tony Sears his second stakes win in seven days when she runs at the Sunshine Coast.
Unbeaten in four starts, Blue Desert Moon steps up to Listed company for the first time in Saturday's Mick Dittman Plate (1000m).
Sears admits Blue Desert Moon is taking on a strong field but says they will have to catch her to win.
"It will take an extremely fast one to head her out of the barriers. They can try if they like but she can really fly from the start," Sears said.
"She won a recent jump-out in style and gave my handy sprinter I Am Boss a towelling in track work this week.
"I don't know how far she will go but we can start making plans after Saturday."
Leading jockey Jim Orman has stuck with Blue Desert Moon despite being offered the rides on several other runners.
Sears fulfilled one of his dreams when Choice Bro won the Listed Weetwood Handicap last week and is looking forward to more stakes success this winter.
"Pillar of Creation who ran third in the Weetwood will probably head to the Prime Minister's Cup but Choice Bro might go somewhere else like the BRC Sprint," he said.
