Champion Sydney apprentice Winona Costin is expecting to get the all-clear from her neurologist so she can resume riding.
Costin has not ridden since she was injured in a fall at Grafton on April 15.
Her mother Patricia has told Racing NSW the young rider will visit her doctor on Wednesday and take a short holiday before returning to work next week.
Costin won last year's junior premiership but is four behind Rory Hutchings in the race for this year's metropolitan title.
