As he celebrates a century of winners for the season, Sydney trainer Bjorn Baker returns to the scene of his greatest triumph with strong chances in three stakes races at the Gold Coast.
A treble at Gosford on Thursday took Baker to 102 wins for the season, and two days later he saddles up Imposing Lass in the Group Three Gold Coast Bracelet (1800m), Coolring in the Listed Prime Ministers Cup (1400m) and Miss Tenpins in the Listed Silk Stocking Hcp (1200m).
Baker won the 2014 Magic Millions 2YO Classic with Unencumbered while Egyptian Symbol was third in both the Group Three Vo Rogue Plate and Magic Millions Guineas at the track.
Baker believes Imposing Lass can go on to be competitive in the Group One Queensland Oaks on June 4.
"I like Imposing Lass and she won in provincial grade before being a dominant winner at Warwick Farm," Baker said.
"I thought she might have been vulnerable at her next start but she won well at Rosehill."
Imposing Lass is by Makfi, the sire of Australian Oaks winner Sofia Rosa, out of Zabeel mare Imposingly.
Baker is still undecided which direction to aim Coolring who was a game second in the Toowoomba Weetwood before his sixth in the Hawkesbury Rush (1100m) last Saturday.
"Going up to the 1400 metres in the Prime Minister's Cup should help," he said.
Miss Tenpins is chasing black type when she runs in the Listed Silk Stocking (1200m) after her last-start second at Rosehill.
