Godolphin has bought two horses which could eventually race in Australia after the British flat season.
Home Of The Brave and Dutch Connection, trained by Charlie Hills, will first run in Friday's Group One Lockinge Stakes at Newbury.
"Both Dutch Connection and Home Of The Brave are excellent horses, who will give us more depth in the ranks in our attempt to win the top one-mile and seven-furlong races in the calendar this year," Godolphin chief executive and racing manager John Ferguson said.
"More importantly, though, they give us the chance to be competitive in the top international races later in the year, not only in Europe, but America, Asia and Australia, as well.
"They present us with plenty of interesting options."
After the Lockinge, the two are to be aimed at the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot in June.
