Farley appeals 12-month disqualification

Trainer Stephen Farley has against appealed the severity of a Racing NSW stewards' disqualification.

Farley was hit with a 12-month ban on Tuesday after his horse Di's Diamond returned an elevated cobalt reading from a race at Taree in February.

He pleaded guilty to presenting a horse to race with a prohibited substance in its system.
