Black Caviar's first foal named Oscietra

Black Caviar's first foal has a name but as yet no trainer.

The filly by Exceed And Excel has been registered as Oscietra, a type of caviar found in the Caspian Sea.

Peter Moody trained unbeaten champion sprinter Black Caviar to her 25 wins but closed his business earlier this year in the wake of a suspension for a cobalt offence.

Black Caviar's second foal born last spring is a colt by 2008 Golden Slipper winner Sebring while she is due to give birth to a Snitzel foal this year.
