Wet weather has claimed Sydney's midweek meeting at Warwick Farm and put several upcoming regional meetings in doubt.
The Australian Turf Club considered moving Wednesday's seven-race card at Warwick Farm to Friday but chose to abandon and add the benchmark 67 race to next week's Canterbury meeting.
Rain also claimed the Murray Bridge program in South Australia with that meeting to be run on Friday, while Victoria's Sandown meeting was abandoned after one race amid safety concerns.
The Gosford track has been downgraded to a Heavy 10 ahead of Thursday's meeting which remains in doubt after more than 40mm fell in the past 24 hours, Racing NSW said on Wednesday afternoon.
Saturday's meetings at Newcastle and Carinda and Tuesday's meeting at Warren are also in doubt if rain persists.
Wagga Wagga is likely to go ahead on Friday, subject to more heavy rainfall in the area.
