FLR's Real Saga colt, Purrealist filly and Commands filly each worked around Eagle Farm this morning under the watchful eye of trainer Rob Heathcote.
The trio have completed a week here at Eagle Farm and Rob is delighted with the progress each has made. They are all well educated yearlings and look to be three forward types that shape as the stable's first 2YO runners of next season.
The Real Saga colt is a lovely moving colt. He's a bit cheeky at times - but knuckles down once on the track - and he's got a great action and a good appetite for his work. He physically looks ready to sprout during his break and expect he'll be at the pre-Christmas trials next campaign.
Commands and Purrealist fillies walk onto the track at Eagle Farm
Likewise the Purrealist filly looks an early runner and physically she's the most forward yearling of the 2016 crop. She's a very strong and physically imposing filly that is also well educated and going about her work with a minimum of fuss. Expect she won't need a long break before returning to Eagle Farm early Spring and she too looks destined for pre-Christmas trials and potentially a race debut.
The Commands filly is all quality. Athletic, confident and switched-on filly she's already ahead of the curve coming into Eagle Farm directly off her breaking-in education. It bodes well for her and while she deserves a good break after a busy two months expect she'll take enormous benefit from this campaign when she returns bigger and stronger in the Spring.
The trio will have a further week here at Eagle Farm before heading to the paddock.
