Former jockey Libby Hopwood will join broadcaster Sky Racing's stable of presenters.
The 29-year-old is set to start as a form analyst on Sky Thoroughbred Central on August 8.
Hopwood suffered bleeding on the brain, a broken collarbone, a fractured shoulder blade, a fractured vertebra in a career-ending fall in a race at Murray Bridge in October 2014.
Her close friend Caitlin Forrest died in the incident.
Hopwood was forced to abort a comeback attempt earlier this year when she failed neuro-psychological tests to give her clearance to compete in races.
"I have some ongoing memory deficits from the fall, so it is definitely going to be a challenge, but I was so excited to get the initial phone call from Sky," Hopwood said.
Hopwood will join other former female jockeys Bernadette Cooper, Priscilla Schmidt and Chantelle Buckley on the network.
