Dwayne Dunn has a gilt-edged opportunity to peg back Craig Williams' premiership lead with a full book of rides at Sandown.
Dunn has rides in all nine races on Wednesday's card as he attempts to peg back Williams' three-win lead.
A winning double at Flemington on Saturday put Williams in the box seat but his day was soured with a careless riding suspension.
Williams will be back on the final day of the season at Caulfield on Saturday.
Dunn's son Dylan heads the apprentices' title race and has six mounts on Wednesday.
His closest competitor, Michael Dee, who is two wins behind, fronts the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Wednesday morning to appeal the decision and severity of a 10-meeting ban.
If his appeal is unsuccessful, Dee will not ride at Sandown or Caulfield.
