Frankel's daughter wins in Japan

Soul Stirring has given her sire Frankel his first winner outside Europe with her victory in a two-year-old race in Japan.

Trained by Kazuo Fujisawa for Shadai Farm and ridden by Christophe Lemaire, the filly settled in the middle of the pack before making a late surge to win Sunday's race in Sapporo by a neck.

The filly is a daughter of multiple Group One winner Stacelita.

The first of Frankel's progency bred to southern hemisphere time turn two on Monday.
