Apprentice Michael Dee has relinquished rides at Moonee Valley after being suspended for careless riding at Geelong.
The apprentice will begin his ban after Thursday's Sale meeting with Craig Newitt to replace him on O'Malley in Saturday's Listed Carlyon Stakes.
Dee, who finished second to Dylan Dunn in last season's Melbourne apprentices' premiership, has already ridden four city winners in the new season and will be back for the Memsie Stakes meeting on Saturday week.
