Leading apprentice jockey Deanne Panya has been handed a four-meeting suspension for careless riding at Canterbury.
Stewards found Volante, Panya's mount in the final race on Wednesday, shifted in near the 700m mark and caused eventual winner Super Maxi to be crowded in across the running of Sugar Bay Leonard who lost his position.
Panya has started the season in strong form, riding seven city winners to sit third on the overall standings behind senior riders Brenton Avdulla and Tommy Berry.
She will be out from September 8 to 15.
