Third foal for champion Black Caviar

Champion mare Black Caviar has safely delivered her third foal, a filly by Snitzel.

The 10-year-old gave birth in the early hours of Sunday morning with her former trainer Peter Moody alerting her fans by tweeting: "Well done big girl" with a picture of the pair.

Black Caviar's first foal is a two-year-old filly by Exceed And Excel named Oscietra whose trainer has not yet been announced.

Her second foal is a colt by Sebring.

Black Caviar was unbeaten in 25 starts with her final racetrack appearance the Group One TJ Smith Stakes in April 2013.
