Star jockey Hugh Bowman is free to ride on Epsom Day after having a careless riding suspension reduced on appeal.
Bowman was given a seven-meeting suspension for careless riding after High Mist's win at Warwick Farm last Wednesday.
Racing NSW's appeal panel reduced the ban to six meetings on Tuesday.
Bowman will miss this weekend's racing featuring the Group One Underwood and Sir Rupert Clark Stakes at Caulfield and the Group Two Golden Pendant at Rosehill.
He will be free to return on October 1 at Randwick, the biggest meeting of Sydney's spring carnival.
That will allow him to ride in three Group One races - the Epsom and Metropolitan Handicaps and the Flight Stakes.
