Rawiller rides four at Happy Valley

Thursday 22 September 2016, 7:29am

Three-time Sydney premier jockey Nash Rawiller has celebrated a big night at Happy Valley with four winners.

When he relocated to Hong Kong two years ago, Rawiller was Australia's leading Group One rider and he said he hoped to get more opportunities in the big events in the Asian racing capital.

It's a big night," Rawiller told the Hong Kong Jockey Club.

"Tonight was the first time I'd ridden three winners in Hong Kong and then to come out in the last and ride four is hard to believe really."

After five meetings this season, Rawiller has ridden seven winners and is second on the premiership behind fellow Australian Zac Purton with champion jockey Joao Moreira to return from suspension on Sunday.
