Apprentice Dylan Dunn gets his chance on the international stage after being invited to compete in an apprentices' race in Abu Dhabi.
Last season's champion apprentice in Victoria, Dunn will compete against riders from Belgium, Canada, Mauritius, France, Ireland, South Africa, Peurto Rico and Great Britain in the HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak (IFAHR) Apprentice World Championship Final on Sunday.
"I am so excited to be heading overseas and competing against jockeys from all over the world.," Dunn said.
It will be Dunn's first time representing Australia internationally and he joins Jordan Childs (Italy), Mitch Aitken (England) and Tahlia Hope (France) as apprentices to have represented Australia in 2016.
Dunn will be joined by Childs with the pair to take part in a conference and other specific industry related topics for 100 young professional and amateur jockeys from around the world.
