Douglas Whyte to ride in Perth Group One

Multiple Hong Kong champion Douglas Whyte will replace the suspended Paul Harvey on Scales Of Justice in the Railway Stakes at Ascot in Perth.

Harvey was ruled out of the three upcoming Saturdays of Group One racing when he was suspended for 26 days his ride on I am Boudica who finished third in Saturday's Group Three Champion Fillies Stakes.

Harvey won the Group Three R J Peters Stakes (1500m) on the Lindsey Smith-trained Scales Of Justice on the same program.

Whyte made his first visit to the Perth carnival in 2013 and the following year claimed the Group One Kingston Town Classic on the Chris Waller-trained Moriarty.

After Saturday's Railway Stakes (1600m), the Winterbottom Stakes (1200m) takes centre stage a week later with the Kingston Town (1800m) the feature on December 3.
