Lindsay Park has its sights on the Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast with Madeenaty who will have a lead-up race at Wyong.
The filly is enjoying a freshen-up in readiness for the $2 million Magic Millions raceday in January.
A debut winner of the Maribyrnong Trial at Flemington on October 2, Madeenaty finished a last-start third in the Ottawa Stakes on Melbourne Cup day.
Madeenaty was sent out the $1.60 favourite, but was beaten by the the vagaries of straight-rack racing.
She was first home, by a comfortable margin, of the group on the inside section of the track, when beaten just over 2-1/2 lengths by Invincible Star.
Madeenaty will make her way to the Gold Coast via a start in the Magic Millions Wyong 2YO Classic on December 22.
Co-trainer Tom Dabernig said the filly was to be trained up for the Wyong race at their Euroa property before heading to their Randwick stable closer to the race.
"The Wyong race will be her next start and then she'll head up to the Gold Coast," Dabernig said.
"She's had a little freshen-up after Flemington.
"She got caught on the wrong side of the track and ran third but the horse that came out and won the Merson Cooper, it ran had fourth in the race we ran third in."
Arctic Angel finished fourth in the Ottawa Stakes, a neck behind Madeenaty, before coming out to win the Merson Cooper Stakes at Sandown on November 12.
Dabernig says the form from the Ottawa Stakes should hold Madeenaty in good stead heading towards the Gold Coast.
"I'm pretty sure her form is right," he said.
