Welsh National winner Monbeg Dude will spend his retirement with Zara and Mike Tindall at Gatcombe Park with his seven-year racing career over.
The 11-year-old claimed the Welsh feature for trainer Michael Scudamore in 2013 to add to his two Grade Three wins at Cheltenham.
He also finished third in the 2015 Grand National at Aintree.
Monbeg Dude raced for the Oydunow syndicate, which included Tindall and fellow former rugby union star James Simpson-Daniel.
The Tindalls will now give Monbeg Dude permanent home at the Gloucestershire estate, which is the country residence of the Zara Tindall's mother, the Princess Royal.
"He will be going to Gatcombe with Zara and Mike and I think the plan is turn him out with Toytown, the horse Zara won the world title on. Hopefully they will be great mates," Scudamore said.
"It's great to see him going to a happy retirement but he will certainly leave a big hole in the yard."
