Winterbottom Stakes winner Takedown has secured an early flight to Hong Kong to contest the International Sprint.

The Gary Moore-trained four-year-old was flown to Melbourne on Monday to catch a plane which will arrive in Hong Kong shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

Takedown received a late invitation to the Sprint following the withdrawal of King's Stand winner Profitable.

At the time the invitation was issued, he was already in Perth where he won Saturday's Group One sprint.

Manikato Stakes winner Rebel Dane, Australia's second representative in the Sprint on December 11, will be flown from Sydney on Sunday.

New Zealander Benzini, the Brisbane Cup winner who runs in the Vase (2400m) leaves Auckland on Friday.

French horse Erupt has been withdrawn from the Vase following an unplaced effort in the Japan Cup.

The winner of the Canadian International at Woodbine last month, Erupt finished 14th in Sunday's Cup won by Kitasan Black ridden by multiple Japanese champion Yutake Take.

Australian Damian Lane will ride Big Orange in the Vase (2400m) with the entries headed by Irish horse Highland Reel, the winner of the race last year after finishing third to Winx in the Cox Plate.
