Another two female jockeys have been granted dual licences allowing them to continue riding while also starting out as trainers.
Jackie Beriman and Sally Wynne join Michelle Payne, Jade Da Rose, Linda Meech and Rhonda Mangan as dual licence holders in Victoria.
But for Beriman her career in the saddle may be short-lived as she gravitates towards the training side of racing.
Beriman hopes to have her first starter, Starsonfortyfive, at the Cranbourne night meeting on December 30.
Her hopes are that leading apprentice Ben Allen will take the ride.
"I'm not interested in riding my horses," Beriman told broadcaster racing.com.
"I think I'd jump the gun and not give it a pretty ride."
Beriman said she contemplated giving riding away and taking up training until hearing about the dual licence option.
"It worked out perfect that they brought in the dual licence and I'm able to do both," she said.
"But I don't think I'll ride for that much longer.
"My passion is in training and I'm absolutely loving every moment of it so far."
