Magic Millions Classic favourite From Within has moved closer to confirming a start with a strong gallop at Rosehill seven days out from the $2 million race.
Trainer Chris Waller has been cautious about plans for the two-year-old filly since her winning debut at Canterbury a week ago which elevated her to favouritism for the Gold Coast feature.
"She galloped this morning at Rosehill over 800m and settled nicely in behind stable mate Religify," Waller said in a statement on Saturday.
"She was asked to improve from the 400m mark and quickened stylishly pleasing rider Hugh Bowman.
"Hugh was happy with how she felt and her turn of foot. She may have another gallop on Tuesday if required and a final decision will be made on Tuesday morning but at this stage we are confident that she will race in the Magic Millions."
From Within's champion stablemate Winx also galloped on Saturday morning and is on track for a barrier trial on January 17.
"(She) galloped this morning over 1000m and pleased her regular track rider Ben Cadden and she feels great and looks very well ahead of her first trial which is planned for the 17th of January at Rosehill ahead of her first up run on the 11th of February in the Apollo Stakes at Randwick," Waller said.
