Speedy filly From Within will be given one barrier trial and a start in the Group Two Riesling Stakes to prove she is up to a Golden Slipper berth.

Trainer Chris Waller said the Riesling at Randwick on March 4 was the ideal lead-up race for the two-year-old filly after she finished 13th in the Magic Millions Classic at the Gold Coast on January 14.

"It gives her enough time to get over the Magic Millions run and prepare properly for the Riesling," Waller said.

"It then gives you the stepping stone for two weeks into the Golden Slipper if we feel she warrants being there."

Waller said From Within had recovered well from the trip to Queensland and the race after spending one week in the spelling paddock.

From Within is a $26 Slipper chance.
